History
The Kelpies are two 30-metre steel horse heads by the sculptor Andy Scott, completed in 2013 beside the Forth and Clyde Canal at the Helix park in Falkirk.
They are named after the shape-shifting water spirits of Scottish legend, and celebrate the working horses that once pulled barges and ploughs across central Scotland.
