Site Rules
Last updated October 2026. This is a template: have it reviewed by a solicitor before launch.
Sim Britain is for businesses, charities and creators who want to be seen. To keep it a nice place, listings and comments must follow these rules. We may remove anything that breaks them without refund.
Not allowed
- Adult or sexual content, escorts, adult dating
- Illegal goods or services, counterfeit goods, stolen data, hacking-for-hire
- Weapons sales, hate, extremism or harassment
- Scams and high-risk or misleading finance: guaranteed returns, get-rich-quick, binary options, forex signals, pyramid schemes, payday or illegal lending
- Phishing, malware, cracked software, deceptive downloads
- Misleading health claims and miracle cures
- Link shorteners, redirect chains, or sites that mislead about what they are
- Impersonating another brand or person, or using a logo you have no right to use
Gambling
Gambling brands may be accepted if they hold a UK Gambling Commission licence, confirm it at purchase, make no "guaranteed win" or "risk-free" claims, and accept that their listing will show a safer-gambling notice linking to BeGambleAware and GamCare. 18+ only.
Logos
Logos are cropped to a square and must be clean: no offensive imagery, no flashing or misleading badges, no text that makes false claims.
Bulletins
Owners may post one bulletin per day (UK time) on each spot they hold, up to 160 characters. Bulletins must be about your own business, contain no links, web or email addresses, and follow the rules above. Deleting a bulletin does not free up that day's slot. Bulletins are removed from public view when you are outbid or remove your listing, and we may hide any bulletin at our discretion.
Comments
Be civil. No links, spam, personal data or abuse. Spot owners and the site owner may hide comments.
Report a problem
Email hello@britain.bid with the spot name and what is wrong; we aim to respond quickly.
